Trials of the Sekhemas - Coop Freeze bug and issues
The following applies to couch-coop attempts at playing through the trials for ascendancy with my wife:
If playing in co-op, the doors to progress do not open. The guide never shows up, doors do not open, and progress through the trials is impossible. When playing alone, if you die to honour loss, the game offers no way to exit and your only way to leave the death screen is by closing the game. No prompt to respawn or return to entrance appears. Additionally, the entire honour system disadvantages tank and melee builds. Our sorcerer and witch got through solo trials without any issue. Our monk and fighter have been unable to get through. The random aoes from rares and ritual rooms have been hard walls. This is especially frustrating given the inherent advantage ranged builds have, the need to force close and reopen the game on failure, and the inability to play this section of the game in couch coop. good feed back, they did release a patch so that Melee and close quarter combat builds take 35% less damage to Honour which was released in the latest patch
just so you are aware incase not only the party Leader can open doors and control the panel although as a secondary party member you can look at the panel and advice the party leader what to pick ALSO as someone who plays Melee myself (Monk) i managed to do the 3rd acendancy with him no problem i ran afew of the 1st labs (Sanctums) and collected relics NOW if you have a relic with only 1 roll on it you can use a Orb of Augmentation on it to add a extra roll IF ou can hit a roll or have relics wit h HONOUR RESISTANCE on bigger the better those are the best relics to use by a mile if you can get a % INCREASE TO MAX HONOUR with A 5 TO HONOUR RESISTANCE you will fly through the trail as long as your character is good enuff ofcourse hope this helps |
