Can't Trade Until Level 25

To whom it may concern, I am a first time POE2 player.

I have purchased a supporter pack in hopes to give a EA code to my friend for his birthday. I found out the hard way that you can't gift a code to a player on another platform. Fine.

I buy him AND his son a copy on PS5 for their birthdays. I'm enjoying the game, level 31, can't wait to play with them tonight.

Logged in, dropped him a unique for his birthday. Dropped a second unique in order to show him MY build. His son picks up the item before I could explain not to. Now he can't trade it back or drop it back.

For the record, I JUST started to use this item (+96% spell damage) at level 31. By the time his kid gets to level 25 it will be unusable I'm sure.

I already read your policy, you won't do anything about it. It's not his fault, he's a kid. Just a real shit experience overall from someone who was prepared to spend hundreds of dollars on your game and would have convinced other friends to as well.

Thanks for a fun week, I had hoped to be a lifelong player, unless there's anything in your heart of hearts that you can do to correct this.

I know it's my fault in the end, but a warning would have been nice. Overall clarification seems to be an issue for myself as a first time player in many regards with this game / purchasing it.

Same issue here. Was playing in a group and the other player picked up a unique for my class off a random level 2 monster. So now ... no one gets to enjoy it. Great feature.
