Trade site not working for me on ps5

Hi im playing on ps5 and when i try to whisper someone on the trade sit it says invalid query your account must be in game to use this feature. I played poe1 years ago on ps5 and have since udated my email and other information. When i went to link my account to Sony it said there was another account associated with my new email and that other account was my old poe1 account one a different email. Anyway i merged the two together...but i cannot use trade site...plz help
