How to find citadels for the pinnacle of flame quest

How do i find these citadels, i have quest to look for them, i already found 2 stone citadels but it was like 5th day of poe so i got oneshotted by random white mob. Now im not able to find any after hundreds of maps. My tactics is to use low lvl map to quickly complete the maps, is that a good tactics or am i missing something?
