Trading process is unnecessarily complicated
Having to take so many steps to trade items makes it really tedious and unfun, especially if you're playing on a console, since you have to go to the website if you want to buy something. Having an in-game auction house as EVERY OTHER MULTIPLAYER LOOT BASED GAME HAS, would be so much better imo. I don't see a reason for it not being implemented that way, other than that a part of GGGs income is from people buying premium stash tabs, which could either way be easily combined with the proposed in-game auction house:
1. Buy a premium stash tab, if you want to sell items. OR make a new type of stash tab SPECIFICALLY for trading, i.e. you put the item into the tab and it automatically prompts you to set a price on the item and whether you want it to be like an auction or you want to sell it at a set price. 2. Player puts the item in the stash tab and sets the price/starting bet. 3. Add an NPC or an interactible object that lets you open the marketplace and see all available items form other players. 4. Player opens the marketplace, clicks "BUY" on the item they want and BOOM! The trade is done, the currency is transferred to the player selling, the item is added to the inventory of the player buying. Having to first open the website and find the item there, then messaging to the selling player in game, then joining their party, going to their hideout and trading with them "in person" is, as I said earlier, unnecessarily tedious, ESPECIALLY on a console. Please change this so trading is more accessible and easier. Last edited by AlbinQo#2865 on Dec 20, 2024, 8:07:06 AM Last bumped on Dec 20, 2024, 2:26:41 PM

Bump.
I am literally not trading right now as it's just too tedious and annoying that I have to pull out a laptop every single time I want to access the market while on console and have a table set up separate for this , which should just be an easy and streamlined process like it was before. I'm nearly halfway through Cruel and reaching a point where trading would be helpful but once I get to the point where trading is necessary to continue further, ✌️ you lose me as a paying customer. With trading essentially mandatory, it's so garbage that they've dropped the ball so hard on this and ruined the experience for console players. This is a known issue and they're not updating anyone about it nearly enough. If there isn't an update soon I'm just not gonna care anymore and I'll be out. |
