Can't use Life Flasks at full life when Enduring Elixirs is allocated
In PoE1, if you had Master Surgeon, you could activate a Life Flask at full life (under most conditions). This was a very useful QoL feature as you could pre-empt the charge of a juiced soul eater and be able to deal with its initial flurry of attacks.
In PoE2 with Enduring Elixirs, for some reason you have to be missing life before you can activate your Life Flask which just makes everything janky (Oh did you accidently reactivate the Life Flask a millisecond before it wore off? Well now it's not going to be up at all!). This sucks, because the node is worded exactly the same as Master Surgeon was. Now I know there's only like a dozen people playing Pathfinder because Deadeye is so much better, but please fix this node to function like it does PoE1. Or at least make the Life Flask being active a visible thing in the UI! Last bumped on Jan 9, 2025, 1:57:19 PM

I agree. I have found this to be especially annoying if you're using the Alchemist's Boon to heal allies, because you can't heal them unless you hurt yourself first.

+1 to this, i wanted to do a support pathfinder build and realised i have to do a clunky way to hurt myself and then heal other ppl.
I dont know how this slipped to the developers, and if its done on purpose its a really bad idea. |

Yeah, this is a very frustrating bug/change

" Master Surgeon doesn't do anything to let you activate a Life Flask at full life. If you could activate a Life Flask at full life with Master Surgeon, you could unallocate Master Surgeon and still activate the Life Flask at full life--it just wouldn't keep healing you. |
