Voltaic Staff Client Crash

Equipped a Voltaic Staff after reaching lvl 78, i met the INT requirements to use the staff and could use the Lightning Bolt skill after equipping the staff.

the bug in question occurred when attempting to add support gems to the Lightning Bolt skill granted by the staff. although i met the INT requirements for the staff, i did not meet the INT requirements for the LVL 18 Lightning bolt granted by the staff. every attempt to socket a support gem did give me the prompt that the support gem could not be used on the skill, then promptly caused my client to crash. repeated this 3-4 times just to make sure that was the cause and noticed that just hovering the support gem over the socket, would also cause the client to crash. did not matter what support gem i used. all had the same effect.

I'm on Steam Client, if that is important.
