Im unable to enter a new zone

I killed the apex of filth boss, soon after i came back to camp talked to alva. From there i walked down to the door and placed the quest item on the door to enter the temple of kopec. Current quest instructions are to enter the temple of kopec undeath the treasure hunters encampment. I tried a new instance, logging in and out, teleporting to a friend. All it does is tell that i have not progressed in the quest.
