"Shockburst rounds cannot shock" has to be included in the skill description.

There is no way to know in game, that shockburst rounds cannot shock until after you have made, equipped and opened the DPS calculation for the skill. There is one line in the DPS calculation that says shockburst rounds cannot shock. This is a major oversight that prevents players from understanded the function and role of the skill, until way too late in the build process. I respecced to use the skill and it simply did not work.
Shockburst rounds does not work unless you have another way of shocking. This is important information before picking the skill. Please add "Shockburst rounds cannot shock/inflict lightning ailments" to the skill description and the blue skill text of the shot and pulse. Last bumped on Jan 30, 2026, 8:37:39 AM

I have just found this out! I equipped this plus Electrocute only for this setup not to work!

it's not supposed to shock because it gets huge benefit from shocked enemies already, that's kinda a warning about the skill itself not able to shock.

Last league it won’t electrocute even with the eletrocute support gem slotted in and using the pulse dmg. Wonder if it’s fixed yet?

Yea ofcourse... Becouse everything in Crossbow skills should work with complexity. No straight damage while other weapon press one button and finish boss in 3 sec.
