Simple Warrior from a casual - Easy to build, easy to play
31.12 Edit added to the end
I have just efortlesly defeated Cruel Jamanra (I'm lvl 59 he was 57, basicaly no grinding on my part at any time). With warrior who is supossedly the worst. And I play casualy and probably wrong, so I though maybe I will share. 1. The rotation. It's boring - I like it Pack of mobs = Rolling slam (half or whole, whatever primes the enemies for heavy stun) + Boneshatter for AoE clear. Single enemy or Boss = Mace Strike + Resonate Shield for block -> Boneshatter for heavy stun -> Mace Strike I don't have the best supports (or even use all spaces) so here are all my skills with all support:
Spoiler
- Mace Strike: + Martial Tempo, + Overpower, + Close Combat
- Boneshatter: + Impact Shockwave, + Heavy Swing, + Brutality For bosses I should probably change Overpower for Brutality in the Mace Strike, but I don't. I don't know what would go into Boneshatter there, I will figure it out later. - Rolling Slam: + Fist of War, + Unbreakable, + Magnified Effect - Shield Charge: + Mommentum. (No stomping ground. Because enemies primed for heavy stun by shield charege were hit and I couldn't Boneshatter them [bone them - hehe]) - Resonate Shield: + Demolisher (Block attacs and/or refresh before debuff disapers) - Magma Barrier: + Fire Infusion (Block does some dmg - yay) - Time of Need: + Fast Forward (Heals!) 2. Items - Good Flask and a Good Mace Remember about vendor each level. Especially for flask, but they got them rares as well. From the start I wanted a life flask that have 10 uses, for bosses. This is a life saver. Now I've found this baby and it's just perfect:

3. Passive tree - Took what felt right Here is the base of that tree https://maxroll.gg/poe2/passive-tree/vsfqf0vs What I think is most important? Besides what is close or more obvious, the "In your Face" in the top left. Only downside is two spaces for Jewels. Downiside cause they are rare. I have some almost random one, and one from trade, which isn't the best for the build but I wasn't looking for the best, cause I don't like trade (I traded only twice) What passives to take after that? Well there are some good options close to that base tree. (I've marked them on my tree in the next spoiler) - Resolute Technique - Hitting with Boneshatter every time to clear mobs is vital - Life Leech from Savoured Blood - Block with life regen from Hunker Down - Attack Speed and life regen, closer to the duelist. Both gives buff to the party, but I play solo and they still seem worth it. (I went for attack speed cause I like attack speed - it's probably a bad choice, who cares)
Spoiler
4. End notes - I hope you like it or it is helpful in some way. - If you have suggestions how to improve it, what supports to use etc. please tell me. - If you have a better physical mace, then daaaaamn good for you. I hope I will find/ vendor + exalt a better one. . --- EDIT 31.12. lvl76 --- . Someone asked me for my gear and my gear propositions so it's a time for update. I'm lvl 76, Still no third Ascendency cause they drop on higher level and I would love to overlevel them before trying. If there was lvl65 (as it should be) I would try it. My Gear
Spoiler
What doesn't matter: - Accuracy, Crit Hit (Resolute Technique - so I always hit, never crit), Reduced atribute requirement, lightning dmg. What needs to be there but could be better. - When I had mana leech there were no need for mana potion, for so much mana stats, for mana on kill. But maybe because there were some mana stats. But using potion and having a free slot for something else isn't a problem. Still I have too many mana things there, or they all could be changed into mana leech? Who knows. What I would like instead: - Better resists (I have too much cold not enough of everything else) - Physical dmg or attack speed - Movement speed - For now game likes a lot of Magic Finds so maybe that as well. Energy Shield - some say it's much better than stacking armor, and they are probably right. But I would prefer GGG improve Armor then making me stack ES on my warrior. Artifacts I just looked some on the wiki and none seemed interesting. Maybe you know what is good? My Supports Changes My armor gives me 44 spirit so I used: - Vitality and Herablism - I could also have Overwhelming Presence and it would be beneficial, but the visuals of the skill make me unable to use that. Main two skills - Mace Strike: + Martial Tempo, + Overpower, + Close Combat + Brutality - BoneShatter: + Impact Shockwave, + Heavy Swing, + Heft Passives https://maxroll.gg/poe2/passive-tree/ng13930v - Import was Resolute technique. - I went for dmg, better life leech, block, some attack speed and regen. After this I don't have any important passive tree goals. Possible routs/ nodes in the picutre below

Little update
- Cruel BlackJaw and the Sun boss - easy, fast, no danger of being one hit. - I like accuracy now and I'm happy it's on the weapon. Not hitting even with 1/20 of hits feels kinda worse than fast swinging feels good. - Shortly after I've said I use old shield for a long time I've hit a level in cruel act 3, went to ventod of act2, act3, and jungle vendor. I've upgrade some stuff including the shield.

Little Update
- Resolute Technique (no crits but allways hit) Connecting with Boneshatter is vital and I've learned about it after my chance to hit fell. Being swarmed, that single hit clears mobs, regens life etc. but if you miss then it can be all over in a second. And with Resolute Technique you don't need accuracy on gear. I Eddited this in the base post |

Thanks for your build, I've just started a warrior and am using rolling slam also, though it seems earthquake is more popular - but takes ages to trigger. I like simple builds and not trading so will follow your logic!

Glad to see it's possible to make a base level build as a casual as well. I just picked up the game and am playing warrior as well, so I'll probably check back here now and then for inspiration.

Nice thanks for update. Can you show where your latest Passives are now that you are way up in levels?
shield warrior titan is the most fun I have had yet. played everything. Just being able to stand in fire and facetank is a nice change from running for your life. bosses are a joke. yeah you dont do 30gajillion damage but who cares .. Im liking the slow pace .. as they say ..warrior is a different game. resonating shield ..never used before .. its amazing Last edited by nabbs1#0248 on Dec 31, 2024, 1:28:29 PM

Been doing mace strike and it primes in one hit with
Martial Tempo Brutality Heavy Swing Boneshatter Impact Shockwave (for aftershocks on Heavy stun) Devastate (fully break armor wheninflicting heavy stun) Armour Explosion ( Explosion when fully break armour) Still shield resonating is my favorite Last edited by nabbs1#0248 on Dec 31, 2024, 10:39:54 PM
