[Crowdsourcing] What do you do when you hit a wall during campaign in SSF?

If you ever hit a wall during SSF campaign, please do share what do you normally do to get past it.
In PoE1 people normally just throw themselves at the boss until it dies, but it is obviously not working here, so I'm just curious of possible direction to take from there.
Would be nice if we can make a list of places to farm for level, gear or gems for each point of progression.
The two common hurdles I can think of is act2 boss and Utzaal. Maybe trials if people want it ASAP.
Which ever it is, if you ever farm during campaign or do anything to fix your build and get past said wall, please do share.

Gathered ideas:
- Dark Soul style if it's a boss, just keep trying.
- Start a new character if you found good gear for another class.
- Check for potential missing passive points on campaign.
- Check for upgrade on gem / support / buff / skill itself.
- Farm for level and gear (spot to farm is to be updated).

Rare and unique mobs (bosses) are the majority of your loot, with that in mind if you are stuck, you need to find a zone that lets you kill these mobs as fast as possible.

So a zone that is small, contains a boss, and is low enough that your current gear allows you to do mindlessly so you are just grinding it and not sweating it.

My favorite was act1 cruel clearfell. You could get a few chests, a boss, and a couple rare kills in under 2 minutes a run.

Just to make things clear: I'm now level 56 Warrior in Cruel Act 2, and I have yet to hit a wall on anything.

That said...

When I'd hit a wall in POE1, I would:

1) Realize the issue is death. DPS, if its an issue, is usually overcome by skill, movement, experience and patience.

2) See where and how to boost HP. At this low level, I feel like resists aren't as important as HP, as you can absolutely tank bosses with enough brawn.

3) Level up: If you can't get over a boss, come back in when you're 2 levels higher than him. Didn't work? Try 4 levels.

4) Farm farm farm farm farm. This game is extremely enjoyable: explore areas and farm upgrades.

These are my forty cents.
This isn't a game designed around playing only one character.
It's designed around playing multiple.

When you hit a wall, it's time to switch to the next character.
You aren't going to find the gear your ranger needs playing as your ranger. You'll find it playing as your witch.

You'll find your witch gear on your monk.
You'll find your monk gear on your merc.
You'll find your merc gear on your sorc.
You'll find your sorc gear on your warrior.
And, finally, you'll find your warrior gear on your ranger.

There is couple easy things you can do.

1. Check you if you can upgrade your gems.
2. Check if there is bettet support gems to use.
3. Check if there is some other skills you could use instead of your current ones.
4. check if there is buffs you could use.

All those are reasonably easy to do and same time good way to learn more.

If you cant fix your problem with those steps you just need to farm some upgrades.

Also check if there is skill points or other quest rewards you missed.
