Would be league and standart same content ?

Im kind of player who dont have time to make new character to play ever single month/2/3 ...i just want to stick with one of more characters and play same content as others but not in rush.

Will be content for standart league same ? Even if league content will came out early and then will be put inside standart ? or how it works ?
I played poe1 but not so much to notice how it work. Thanks for answers.
