POE2 BUG - Ascendency blocked ?

Hi,

So it appears i can't get any ascendency points in cruel mode. I managed to get the first 4 ascendency points in normal mode, but now every "token" i get for the trials (act 2 and 3) are marked as "will not grant additional ascendency points" even at level 60+.

I think it is because i killed Balbala before i got the quest, and now the quest "rise in power" (sorry, it's google translated from french "montée en puissance" so it may not be the actual english name) is stuck in the state "Explore the Traitor's Passage" and nothing happens when i kill Balbala again.

One other weird thing is that the tokens i got told me that they will grant me ascendency points when i was anywhere in cruel mode, and when i switched back anywhere to normal mode they would told me that they won't grant any ascendency point (which makes sense). But i tried one of these act2 tokens anyway in normal mode (and succeeded btw) and now they all tell me that they won't grant me ascendency points, even when i'm in cruel mode.

Feeling blocked. I'm a 69 Merc Gemling Legionnaire, coincidence or cause. Balbala is dead in both playthroughs. I got the first 4 AP on the first playthrough no problem. On Cruel, when a high enough level 62 Djinn for Trials of Sekhemas eventually dropped in act 3, the world TP's for Act 2 in either playthrough were grayed out, I couldn't get back.

Still haven't seen a high enough level Inscribed Ultimatum for the second playthrough Trials of Chaos and those 2 points.

I continued playing and made it to the Ziggurat and endgame. Mapping works fine, I've run half dozen or so. But I can't get back to Act 2 to use my Djinn for points 5 and 6.

I'm in the Ziggurat on the Waypoint, with the Djinn, and all previous Act playthrough TP on World screen are gray.

My Act2 standard play through quest log is empty, all complete. My Act 2 cruel log says Ascent to Power - Search Traitor's passage.

I got the same problem, I tried to complete the Sekhemas trial with 3 floor (lv 60 Djinn Barya) but still not unlock anything. No chances to complete trial of chaos with 10 round so currently no hope. This feel bad!

Ignore the quest. It doesn't matter. For your third points, you need to get the correct level djinn barya or ultimatum as mentioned. This is NOT a guaranteed drop. It's RNG or you can buy it off people. It's also 1 use, unlike the quest ones.

The area level of the Sekhema waypoint does NOT matter. The part that seems to be confusing tons of people is that you do NOT get to ascend from just beating the Rock Golem boss at the end of the floor. 3 floors means you need to clear 3 floors to ascend. A floor is NOT a room, those are 2 different things.

After you beat the rock golem and get to the room with the ascend statue, that statue will NOT work because that is the end of the FIRST floor. In that room, there is a silver door that will open when you click on it if your djinn barya has more floors. This is how you get to the 2nd floor. You need to continue until you kill the boss of the THIRD floor. The statue after THAT boss will allow you to get your 5th and 6th points.

They really should pin something for this because tons of people seem to not understand how this works and think the game is bugged. There is no fix coming because it works fine. I've personally gotten all 8 ascendancy points.
