Controller getting disconnected should not kick you out of game
I'm using a DualShock 4 controller. I have a problem with the cable where if it moves, it gets disconnected from the game. That's on me, I need to fix that.
What doesn't make sense is that if a controller gets disconnected, the game should not log you out of the game, resulting in lost progress if running maps (or in my case, ultimatum). Please make it so that the game automatically pauses or switches to another control method if it detects a lost connection. Yes I agree this function of the game is very dumb. Just finished my first Ascendancy and my controller disconnected so I got booted and cannot claim my ascendancy or any rewards. Looks like I have to start over again.

+1
A pause with maybe 1 or 2 min countdown timer to logout would be better than forcing direct logout if playing solo. For a group play which cannot be paused - logout is probably a good way to do it. Last edited by HaxorDoge#8588 on Dec 22, 2024, 8:33:56 PM
