STOP MAKING POE2 A ROGUELIKE !
All your punishments on death will Just annihilate all non tryhards veterans.
I mean you have Hardcore, maybe introduse soft-hardcore Mode with the current punishments, but for god sake remove them in normal Mode. You Made IT possible in campaign with waypoints, non exp loss and quick Boss restart after death. This was awesome! I Like that Bosses have Lots of mechanics and campaign ist Harder Overall than poe1. Currently only the Bad class Balance and the punishments Like respawn and loot loss in death are Bad in campaign And playing Endgame mapping ist Just pure Frustration and pain. Im already at that Point where i dont even want to try Something Out because the punishment Just for Miss a 1shot mechanic ist Just to big. Just Stop it Last bumped on Dec 22, 2024, 2:27:03 PM

I truly don't know who the death penalty is designed for. It needs to go if this game wants any hope of some kind of player retention past the campaign. Because maps is where most players are expected to spend hundreds to thousands of hours. And yeah it also makes no sense that you get to restart from checkpoint in campaign but suddenly they're gone in maps. Not to mention you also can't revive party members in maps so that just kills the fun for anyone trying to just play with a friend. |

PoE is literally a roguelike. Diablo was just adding graphics to Rogue, and PoE is a continuation of Diablo 2.

The difficulty of this game needs to be slashed until it barely exists.

Yeah soulslike, roguelike, hardcore. None of you whining seems to play those, because you'd know PoE 2 is nothing like.
