Ascendancy trials need to be completely reworked
Ascendancy trials in their current iterration are extremely irritating and way, way, way too punishing for the average player to event want to engage with them.
They are way too long, too punishing and soul suckingly unfun. Just wtf, why and who in their right mind thought THOSE MECHANICS that everyone I know who played POE1 hated were gonna be a good idea to be mandatory in POE2?????? Last bumped on Dec 22, 2024, 4:15:46 PM

Maybe the developers wanted to have playercount lower than d4 so they can claim that their game is more hardcore and better whilst all the people wanting to have fun play the bad game making more money for some reason.

Yeah I finally just quit. Started some alts but doing the ascendancy again... I rather just do the laundry.
I could accept some bugged mobs/bosses randomly oneshotting you during the campaign and you "waste" 5-10 hours leveling up again on HC. Having some trial related RNG completely void 20 hours of farming for that tablet/stone and locking my ascendancy behind it, not so much. |

" That! The Labyrinth was engaging, not too long and right amount of challenge to check game knowledge, survivability and DPS. Those "knew" Ascendency Trials are bloated with roguelike BS mechanics. Vibes of Cult of the Lamb kill boss without being hit achievement. |
