Purchase issue After contact with GGG Support.

Happy Holidays GGG,
I bought POE2 EA on steam 2 days before release. Played about 10 hours after release and then also purchased on Xbox the week after due to all my POE1 purchases beging in my Xbox account. I contacted grindinggear@support.com and received a response back stating that for my steam account that it has been unlinked and I could link it with my Xbox account now. I followed what was stated and linked steam to my Xbox account and attempted to sign in on steam. It says I no longer have access. I can still play using my Xbox account on the console, but cannot use that same account that I have purchased 2 times to play on steam. This made me run some tests, the account that used to be linked to with my steam login for some reason is still able to access POE2 EA despite my steam account that is no longer linked and the account that I purchased POE2 EA on. Warning: If you Purchase POE2 EA on steam and then link an email to that account under manage account, DO NOT Unlink steam account. It appears that your EA Key is no longer tied to steam and is tied to the POE2 Account. Please fix this GGG, not just for me but all users this is happening to that have paid for multiple keys on different platforms. Thank You. Access to the Path of Exile 2 early access would be based on the account you obtained it on, so if you obtained access on a particular Path of Exile account then this would not transfer to any other account as a result of changing login methods.
You may be able to merge your accounts using the Manage Account page, if they were created using different login methods. You can find this page here. Thank you for the response, but unfortunately it seems the entire post was misunderstood. I have purchased the game twice now, once on steam and once on Xbox. Xbox has access and steam had access until GGG Support unlinked steam account. Steam and Xbox are NOW linked and I cannot sign in via steam. Email is already sent on this issue.
