Game Crashing

I have been playing since early access launch, and I have been having consistent issues with game crashing. I have tried a number of things to alleviate the issue, but it seems to be the worst around ground effects. Fire ground effects are the primary culprit, but it does seem to hold true for the others, except ice. This made fighting certain mobs very frustrating. Such as the chimera boss in act 3. I don't understand how or why, but the ground effects are a persistent issue.
