Please consider making it easier to revive a party member. It doesn't need to be "easy" but it is nigh impossible to revive anyone in combat. Even the slightest touch and the meter completely resets. It doesn't feel good in a mutiplayer game...

Yes!
I tend to play with a friend, and the revival of a teammate is incredibly tedious if not downright impossible. We should either have a quicker animation, or allow the possibility for the died player to respanwn. |

I always imagined it would work in a way where you can still take damage while doing it AND it builds up heavy stun similar to if you were blocking - worst of both worlds so to speak.
The way how it just totally ends/resets the entire revive even if you take a tick of damage does feel kinda bad. The only time I ever tried to use revive was in some bossfights where I was playing couch co-op with my wife. She'd die and I would basically just suicide myself so we could both start over. The whole purpose of the session was to have fun gaming with my wife, not for her to watch me solo the hard parts. I could have potentially tried to play the odds and brute-forced myself through some boss damage to get a revive off so she could rejoin and we could carry on the fight, which would be much more fun than how the revive works now. |
