Concoction auto weapon set swap
Pretty minor thing - I want to be able to automatically weapon swap with concoction skills. I want to take advantage of specialization points and some other stuff, but right now I would have to clumsily and manually swap sets in order to do this. The options for the skill do not allow me to specify a weapon set - presumably because it's not a "weapon skill" I guess?
Use case: specialization points for elemental damage and ignite duration etc on one set (wand or scepter w/ shield possibly) and then specialization points for a bow or something else to pump out consistent hit damage once the ignite triggers off the concoction. Not sure why it's not already enabled to do this but it would be super cool to have this available. Last bumped on Mar 10, 2025, 4:42:37 AM

I'm not sure why there isnt the option for weapon set on the concoction skills, it has to have been overlooked. Seems to be treating it like a skill you gain from your equipped weapon(like a wand skill or basic shot with a bow) when its different because its from the passive tree and available for both weapon sets by default.
The default playstyle for concoctions is pretty much widowhail and a quiver, if we weapon swap to use other skills it will then use concoction skills with whatever set you had out which is clearly not what the player wants. They want to always use the concoction with the widowhail setup. |

jumping on the wagon for this one, doing a quarterstaff+widowhail build, I do not want to manually press x everytime.

it's seems to be a thing with all of the ascendancy skills. They don't have the option to lock to a set, maybe because they are tied to the character, I don't know.
But yes it's a problem with certain skills since you want to assign them to a specific set. It would be great to have this option for all of the ascendancy skills. |

adding my +1 to this, it feels pointless setting up a second weapon set in the skill tree unless this is implemented.
