Suggesting new players get guide

I made a suggestion that new players look up information if they don't understand something. Here is the exact quote: seek out a guide, google it, ez?

There was a discussion about how overwhelming the game is for new people, how they get frustrated and leave...and I suggested they look up a guide to help them understand....This is against CoC? Are you serious? I wonder what others think about this? I sent an email to support asking about this, no response so far.
