Clicking map portal causes crash to login screen

Summary:
Clicking a portal on the map device crashes the game client to the login screen.
The waystone is consumed, the portals are gone, and the map counts as "attempted"

Number of crashes: 10+

Steps to reproduce the bug:
(notes in parantheses are different circumstances where I've had this crash):
0. Play in either Fullscreen or Windowed mode
1. Be in Ziggurat Refuge or Dreadnaught Hideout
2. Select a map node on the atlas (Deserted, Blooming Field, Burial Bog, Savannah, Lost Tower)
3. Put a Waystone in the map device. Waystone variables:
Tiers: 3 to 6
Rarity magic or rare
Waystone affixes (not all on one waystone):
- Shocked Ground
- Extra mob packs (beasts)
- + to mob ailment thresholds
- + Item drop rarity and quality
- + Mob chance to avoid elemental ailment
4. Click Traverse
5. Six Portals open
6. Click a Portal
CRASHES HERE - Client crashes to Login screen
Message on login screen: "An unexpected disconnection occurred"
7. Log back in
8. Reselect character
9. No portals around the map device
10. Open atlas
11. Map node now marked as "Map Attempted"
12. Extra content gone from Map node (Expedition, irradiated)

System summary:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600

OS: NixOS

Think I found a fix at least it fixed this exact issue for me at least. Credit goes to a you tube channel. Will link below.

Step 1: Navigate to your POE 2 folder: "C:\Users\*****\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2".
Step 2: Copy the current "poe2_production_Config.ini" to another place on your computer.
Step 3: Now delete the config file and start the game to force it to make a new config.

I have run several maps now with out any crashing to log in or desk top. Hope this helps other's out.
