Instant crash when launching game (non-Steam)

As soon as I launch the game, there's about a 50% chance it will get through the GGG loading screen for the first few seconds. If it does get through this, I will get to the login screen where within 1-3 seconds (whether I try to do something like type my email to login or not) the entire application crashes and I am back to my desktop. No error message, no crash log I am aware of, the process just dies and I can't start the game. This is on Windows 11 through the PoE launcher, not Steam.

How am I supposed to go about diagnosing and fixing this when there is no error message? Can I maybe modify some settings without starting the game (since I can't start the game) that will make it less likely to crash? Let me know what steps I should be taking to fix this or if this a known issue with a known solution, thanks.
