Weapon swapping Titan Query

Does anyone know if weapon swapping affect Totem? Titan Build

Let say for example

weapon set 1 with 2x 2H mace + levels to skills.
weapon set 2 with a 2H mace and shield

Shockwave totem is set only for weapon set 1.

I lay down 3 totem and switch to weapon set 2 block incoming block able damage and more Armour.

Would the totems that are already placed on the ground still have the same damage as when I equipped Weapon set 1? Does it snapshot? Or does it have the same output as when I check the skill page when I swap to weapon 2?

I've been testing around and can see that I am able to block some hits but am not sure if it is reducing overall damage.
