POE2 - Portal bugged upon returning to caravan & I lost my Trial of Sekhamas completion.

I FINALLY completed the Trial of Sekehamas after 15 attempts. I made it through the boss room into the next room, where there are multiple chests. I opened a few chests and realized my inventory was full. I portaled back to the Ardura Caravan to sell. When I went to go back through my portal, the title over the top disappeared. It left a portal graphic, but there was no way I could click on it to travel through. I tried manually clicking around but nothing seemed to help. The portal went away on its own after about another minute.

The kicker is that I didn't choose my Ascendancy class yet. I didn't make it that far before I portaled back. So now, I have to re-do the Trial of Sekhamas all over again. I'm so demoralized. I don't want to do this again... :(

Apparently, from reading other similar posts, this is by design?

Theres a Stash in that final room, so your supposed to loot, and do your Ascending business, dump stuff in the Stash etc. then leave.

I looted, grabbed a few things, Ascended, and portaled out of habit to dump stuff off, and had the same thing happen to me, with a bunch of loot left on the ground. So not as bad as your situation.

Maybe a pop up that says "Are you sure you want to leave? Cause you aint coming back" or something would be nice.

Cuz I DID NOT ASCEND FIRST so i just BEAT THAT WHOLE FUCKING THING just to lose it all cuz i used the portal. If PORTALING IS MEANT TO LOSE ALL MY PROGRESS, TURN PORTALING THE FUCK OFF, ITS NOT LIKE THEY DONT TURN IT OFF OTHER PLACES

Hope they fix this bullshit, by turning portaling off in that area or otherwise. Exact same thing happened to me, and im about to break something over this shit. Like locking our subclasses behind bullshit RNG is already bad, but letting people ruin all that progress because the natural reactions to giant piles of loot we cant pick up is to portal to camp, is fucking infuriating.
