If I purchase access through Steam, will I lose my MTX?

Hi,
I usually play PoE 1 using the standalone installation from the website, but I’ve also played it through Steam in the past. Upon checking the settings, I noticed that my accounts are linked (PoE standalone with Steam). My question is: if I purchase access to PoE 2 through Steam, will I still have access to my PoE 1 items as usual? Furthermore, will I also be able to use the standalone version of PoE 2, or will I only be able to play through Steam from this point on? Thanks. If your account is connected to Steam, you'll be able to play using either the stand-alone client or the Steam client, and would have access to your characters, progress, and purchases either way. I hope this helps!
