16000 hours mute

Hello everyone,

Since GGG's custoer support is probably overwhelmed from emails due to PoE2 release and I saw similar topics here with answers from GGG mods, I've decided to try my luck here as well, hopefully getting answer or help sooner rather than never or in 1-2 months.

I'll cut straight to the chase since there isn't really any story to tell.


Now, I am not sure if GGG has some kind of chat detector that automatically catches some words/phrases that should not be used or if someone actually reported me and I understand why I might have been muted but this is 21 century, sadly gaming slang is everywhere, especially in a multiplayer virtual game and saying "something is retarded" is common, like, most of the builds are "retarded", not OP because OP is just not descriptive enough....

Anyway, I am just curious if anyone here agrees with me, or I am unconsciously toxic and mean.

Also, since the mute has been changed from before (you can't even whisper people that are NOT your friends, and by friends I mean, not just you having sent a friend invite but they having accepted it as well) and not being able to even socialize in an online community, especially for that long (16k hours is 666 days, which is.... almost 2 years) does really hurt.

I feel like i am playing illegaly from somewhere in North Korea where if I try to talk to people I might get in trouble. Where is the freedom of speech?
