Restoration of character and account

I have just merged my steam account and my windows account for Path of exile 2. The characters and MTX and all my currencies are wiped clean. How can i restore my account? Please help.

You should be able to select which sub-account you'd like to play using while on the character select screen, which will allow you to play using the characters and progress on your other sub-account. I hope this helps!
