Ultimatum: Real Talk

I am a returning player who was around during open beta(or before, just know scion wasn't in game back then, and remember games full release.)
I love the game as it is now, however: I have never successfully done an ultimatum, done up to T15 maps now on different builds, where most of them are 85+. I've learned either do 2 or 3 rounds, or go for full 10 and die, and this I'm fine with. What is not fine is the mockery from the trial master. It literally makes me hate him, and try to ignore it, but but appears too often without me wanting him, and it's degrading. it's not a good sensation when you come to a game to have fun. I'm sure a lot of players will like a rebalance, but I don't care about that, I just want to not be told how insignificant I am after failing an ultimatum in a T1 map(for chaos recipe in SSF) after completing a Hard map. Yeah, he seems a lot more snide in a mean-spirited way in PoE2. I loved his level of sass from PoE1, but it seems to be gone now.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. " I think he's talking about PoE1 here :) On the topic, to be successful in Ultimatum and have fun with it u need to tailor ur build around it. Basically play something that can ignore most or all of his debuff mechanics. yeah I know what u mean, but since he's talking about Ultimatum in T1 maps and farming chaos recipe for SSF, I'm pretty positive it's PoE1 :D
