Crossbow not firing

Mouse and keyboard user here. I have noticed at times my crossbow seems to hang up and not fire. I am using exploding shot/ shockburst round build. Some people said it was because of turn speed, however i have noticed it hang up when running a straight line. Im using mouse and keyboard controls. Anyone else seeing this?
