EA not working.

A friend gifted me an EA key. I registered it on steam and it shows the EA and supporter pack on steam. I linked my two accounts and on the poe2 website it's pretending I don't have a key. I tried to validate the steam and epic games keys i was sent on the POE2 website, but both come back as "invalid".

" when you buy a supporter pack for your account that grants early access, your account is unlocked for poe2 and you also get a key for steam to unlock the bundle there. you can give the steam key away so other people can see the game on steam and download it there but it doesn't unlock their accounts for poe2 age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

it was purchased as a gift. they already have the supporter pack and ea. my steam client shows i have the supporter pack with ea attached.
