Temple of Kopec Checkpoint bug

When dying in boss fights or anywhere in this area, the respawn location is incorrect. Despite unlocking later checkpoints, the game always respawns me at the area's starting checkpoint. Additionally, attempting to teleport to other unlocked checkpoints fails - the game forces me back to the starting checkpoint of the area.
