Lost Towers can not be interacted with to place precursor tablets

I am playing on Xbox series x

I am playing maps and have completed many lost towers which should allow you to interact with them by pressing “a” which then allows you to either place a precursor tablet in to them or to see the tablet you have already inserted into it. I have many towers however that will not allow me to interact with them( I also have some that will allow me to interact with them) therefore I can’t place precursor tablets in them.( and I am trying to do this by interacting with the map device) In addition when I first started playing maps and completed a tower it showed a circle of influence on screen allowing you to see all of the maps would be influenced by the tower however this has also stopped showing when I highlight any tower it no longer shows even on a tower that I have just completed( a toggle option would also be great that allowed you to show on screen the circles of influence for every completed tower allowing you to better choose the precursor tablet you wish to insert into towers as you could see which towers circle of influence intersect together. Please investigate and rectify. Kindest regards

Same problem for me on PC.
Can interact with some towers and with some others I can't.
