Bad Faith/FOMO - don't cave to Reddit / YouTube

Hey GGG,

Just wanted to say congratulations on the launch and thank you so much for this amazing game. What a holiday gift, holy moly. I haven't been this addicted to a game since WoW Classic in 2019.

That said, I notice a lot of over-exaggeration and hyperbole all over Reddit and YouTube. I think the following popular claims are way overblown (actually just not true):
- Warrior is slow and clunky
- Armor is trash
- Magic find should be deleted
- Build diversity is lacking

These are just examples that stick out to me because I am playing a Titan (level 93) in SSF, and I feel like a badass exploding hoards of monsters in T15+ maps. I have been very much enjoying slowly introducing magic find gear into my build where I can while I incrementally upgrade my character power. It's an extremely satisfying and fulfilling gameplay loop to not only get stronger, but get more/better loot over time.

I think you know this, but most of the posts on Reddit and videos on YouTube are tainted with bad faith arguments. YouTubers have the direct profit incentive of making clickbait/ragebait videos and Redditors want easy karma.

Additionally, I think a significant amount of the negative feedback stems from players in standard (trade) league that are feeling immense pressure from FOMO. Most of the "issues" they bring up are actually self-induced. I think it mostly comes from comparing yourself to others. When a player says they "feel forced" to do something, they are putting that pressure on themselves.

Please, do not concern yourself with this category of feedback. I think your interaction with Reddit should be limited to an extreme degree. Hold true to your vision. Do not falter.

Thank you so much, sending my love and deep appreciation to the team <3
