Stash tabs from PoE1 to PoE2

Hi all,

I have been notified by all my friends playing that when they had certain stash tabs in PoE1 they automatically got them on PoE2 as well.

This didn't happen for me.
My Steam account wasn't linked day 1.
Is there something that can be done ?
