Mercenary bolts bugged

I was playing just fine this morning, i went and updated some of my skills and now I can't shoot any bolts!

I can fire grenades just fine, but nothing comes out of my crossbow, no normal attack nor skill. I tried switching crossbows, taking off all my skills, swapping around the add ons to skills.

No clue what the problem is, but its my only character and I can't use it properly! any help?
