Incoherent behavior of Ziggurat Encampment portal once cruel is unlocked

If you beat act 3 and unlock the portal to cruel difficulty, the portal BOTH takes you to the riverbank in act 1 cruel AND flips the act 3 map to the other timeline. Since the cruel portal takes you to the riverbank, it makes you assume that you can't visit the future timeline anymore, which is bad since there are permanent bonuses in there that can be missed. It's only apparent that it also changed the timeline if you happen to portal back to the ziggurat encampment in the riverbank. I recommend adding a separate portal for cruel, distinct from the timeline portal.
