Death Penalty vs. Defense scaling.
I get that there are classes that can steamroll mobs long before they reach the screen and just melt bosses, so dying isn't much of an issue.
... The extreme cases aside, the XP penalty for death is too high after 70 compared to how poorly defense scales leading to spikey damage... One missed dodge every 45 minutes and you lose all the progress you'd made. Last bumped on Dec 26, 2024, 9:59:47 PM
