Poe2 Lost In-Game sounds when i alt+tabbed but it gave me better fps

i alt+tabbed to check something and when i came back all in-game sounds stopped working except music, this for some reason boosted my fps from around 40-50 average fps to 70-100 average and i also lost the drops to 1 fps whenever i entered a new map that i usually get.
