Still don't have access to POE2 EA on steam

I have the game on Steam. My friend gifted me the POE2 Early Access Supporter Pack (300 coins + EA) for Christmas. I see POE2 and the EA DLC on my steam account. Whenever I launch the game and log in it says I don't have early access.

So I go to the website and log in, using steam to auth (not email), and it still says I don't have EA on the POE2 Early Access web page.

I gifted POE2 to see if my friend had the same problem. He was able to access the POE2 Early Access web page, get a key, log in and play.

Both copies were bought legitimately on Steam.

Please help, I still can't play the game. I emailed support but they have not responded.

Thanks, I have submitted a support email but have not received a response. I'm hoping someone might have a solution since everyone else seems to be able to play the game.

I've tried:
Unchecking the POE 2 EA DLC in steam - didn't work
Reinstalling POE 2 - didn't work
Installing POE 1 and opening the shop and clicking on buy coin to 'refresh' my account - didn't work, and still don't have the 300 coins from the EA supporter pack
Doing the steps outlined in the top review on the POE 2 EA DLC page - didn't work, stuck here: My Profile -> POE2 early access on the website says I need to buy the game again

I'm stumped and its frustrating that I can't play a game my friend paid money for.

I am in the same situation aswell, still.

I find it infuriating to see GGG support replying to topics in the forum but being unable to help, and I have been waiting for 18 days for a reply from their email support, yet they tell you not to send in more tickets.

we are assuming your friend did not refund the pack, which has been happening a lot atm though mostly through resellers.

Please note that if your friend gave you the Steam or Epic client key, this does not grant access to the game. You would still need an early access key.

It was bought and gifted through steam. The only thing you can buy on steam for POE2 and gift is an early access supporter pack. My friend didn't give me a "client key" he gave me the early access pack.
