Slow and Ignite Mace Chronomancer
A work in progress build that is currently performing decently enough in T10s but surely has plenty of room for growth. It uses high slow magnitude provided by starting as chronomancer to compensate for the slow windups of mace skills, and uses fire damage and strong ignites for clearing.
As of now, just Temporal Chains alone can slow normal mobs by 70%, and bosses by 35% (and also Hinders them) without having to invest into any +% curse effect jewels. It is unclear if the Apex of the Moment chronomancer passive is working correctly, but needless to say it's another core aspect of the build. Nice - very well-written, comprehensive, and cool tree! Clever/creative hybrid melee Sorc build - making use of Stampede too, nice synergy w/ temp chains (and a bunch of other optimizations that makes it viable for late-game/mapping). Thank you! (highest level class I have is lvl 54 warrior...long road ahead to explore and optimize more...not sure when I'll get to more than T10+ mapping...but good guide to get started...! [over again...lol])

As a fellow chrono, I love the new ways explored! As far as I know, the chrono's 20% slow has been tested and works, although I don't know how it applies on top of temp chains. Temp chains can be stacked to 100% slow applied, even with blasphemy. That means slowing down white mobs to a complete stop (slow magnitude and curse effect nodes + gloves enchant + aura effectiveness jewels). If you are undecided on jewels, some effect duration ones are always nice. |

Hello and thank you! Yes, from my testing I also think Apex works, though it is hard to figure out how much it's doing (and it didn't feel like a 20+% slow, so I was unsure if it is working but doens't have a debuff indicator, which it should, or if it was working but not entirely right).
I am aware that you can use Blasphemy and jewels to achieve 100% slow, but that seems inefficient in a non-curses centric build, when as a mace user I have other modifiers I am interested in, and particularly so when the build does not have as many jewels slots atm (I'll see as I improve my gear if I can rework things to get more). Yet, it is something I still have to test. As for effect duration, the build already has some inside, and it doesn't affect ignites, so I'm still gauging if it's worth it, since it would msotly be for the curse (which is 10+sec already) and Scavenged Plating. ADDENDUM: It does sadden me a little that Apex is only a 20% slow, and meanwhile Temp Chains can be stacked so strongly.
