Steam gift - Game not working

So basically for christams i sent the game as a gift trought steam to 2 of my friends and when they try to log in the game it shows them that they dont have an acces key and when they check the website where is should be (yes they have their steam linked) it tells them the same

i would apreaciate any help thank you

Just ask for refund dude. I got gift from steam and got the same error. It has been more than a week and they do nothing, not even reply to my email.
