Loss of characters sounds in Aggorat

I keep losing character based sounds whilst running through Aggorat (at random stages of progressing through the area). All background sounds and music remain. This has happened 4 times now, 3 times in Act 3 and once in Act 3 Cruel. The only way I can get the combats sounds etc back is to get to the temple waypoint and then restart the game.
