POE2: Map and effects visibility

In maps, for a better view of map positioning, I use Tab to place the map on the screen (big) while running. With all the stuff going on in the endgame (Delirium fog, smoke from Strongboxes, Ally minions in party etc) I find it difficult to see some enemy mobs or ground effects many times, and at some tougher / more important elites or bosses I have to change the minimap to small to clear the screen and see what is going on. Same in a Breach or smilar spots even without the big map, where the number of monsters many times makes seeing an on-death Elite explosion very hard for example or other stuff around you (ground-level).
In the hope that this issue is not uncommon, I see it as both a clutter / overlap + a contrast issue (regarding some spell effects) for people and I suggest a permanent highlight option (not just on hover) be implemented for enemy mobs / AOE ground effects (especially expanding like ice rings or whatever) to be able to improve visibility in certain situations / for poor vision players :D.
