Short message about Dodge rolls in games

Hi, I just want to write a short message of feedback about dodge rolls in games.
In recent times, a LOT of games have used the mechanic of dashing or rolling at some timing interval with invulnerability frames on the dodge.
Even though I love Elden Ring, I would love to see more games propose impressive fights without using the mechanic of invulnerability on dodges to simply cancel any damage from an attack that would normally hit the character in this movement, when it fails to actually get you out of the way of the attack.
