Disable Item selection snapping

Please provide an option to disable item selection snapping or make the system smarter. There are situations where is is very difficult to navigate to an item. For example, configure items in your bag as shown in the attached screenshot (place a 1x1 item in the top left, skip down 2 spaces and place a 1x1 item, then place a 1x4 item, like a staff, in the column starting to the right of the first 1x1 item.) I then challenge you to select the top left 1x1 item.

*note this seems to occur mostly with the 1x4 item, because if I use instead a 2x4 item (like a bow) I can navigate to the top left item with very little difficulty.

go to options then input. unclick the 2 options under deadzone. now it goes box by box.
