Djinn Barya coin lost

I killed the Consort in Cruel and she dropped a Djinn Barya. I picked it up and teleported to Clearfell, sold any loot to NPCs and realized that the Djinn Barya was nowhere to be found. I searched my stash, the buyback tab in NPCs, the Consort boss room...everywhere! The Djinn Barya is lost and i cannot access the trials at the moment until another coin drops randomly. Any suggestions?
