Can not trade items from the POE2 online trade platform - Please help

Hi Guys

I am having problems sending invitations to players online when I need to trade or buy items from the POE2 trade website. When I copied the whisper and pasted it to the in-game chatbox, nothing ever happened. I have tried many different items with different players, yet I have gotten no response at all. I have turned on the in-game "show trade chat" or "trade request," etc. Can you please help me out? What do I need to do in order to trade items with other people?
