Appearing offline in trade

Account appears offline in trade despite being actively playing POE2.
Problem persist even after going to trade settings and choosing "show my status on all leagues" or "show my status"

After changing this option in trade settings, the account appears online briefly. But within 10 minutes seems to go back to showing as offline.

Out of curiosity, do you find that going to a town resets your ONLINE status?


In past leagues I found that my status would stay or switch to OFFLINE if I was to log back into my hideout instead of town. If I never went to town, I could appear offline even when I was logged into the same league.
edit: testing this in 0.4.0d I do appear ONLINE after logging into hideout (I haven't tested if I stay that way over time).

Travelling to town would make me appear ONLINE again, usually right away. Logging into town from being offline sometimes showed a delay (my testing was in 0.2 Dawn of the Hunt).

Likewise, I found that changing public stash tabs (e.g. tab-wide pricing or naming) might not reflect any change in listings that were made from my hideout, but would when I travelled to a town or instead made the changes from a town.

If you were to spend a lot of time in hideout without ever entering a town (I didn't test this much with leaving hideout for mapping), the game seemed to have a habit of keeping you offline (or did in patch 0.2x).


The "show my status" option appeared to equate ONLINE to ONLINE IN LEAGUE.
If you are logged into characters in other leagues, "show my status on all leagues" was necessary to appear ONLINE regardless of which league you were logged into (which I realize you selected in your testing).
