Headhunter (major bug)

After stealing certain mod(s) from rare monsters, they start to ignore you. They do not attack, just stand there doing nothing, even bosses. In ultimatum, things that target your character stop working as well (for example Volatile Dead).

I was not able to clarify which mod is causing it, but im sure it is related to the headhunter mod stealing interaction.

I will update the post if im able to pinpoint the modifier.

UPDATE:

If i have to guess it is the proximal tangibility modifier. Leaving the map and going back removes the effect. The reason i think that is the culprit, is the gray smoky character effect persist even after the buff is expired.

Can confirm this, i suppose you steal some of the ally minion buffing mods and they start to see you as an ally because you buff them. After taking portal out and in everything is back to normal.
Yes, certainly happening. Not sure about what exact mod causes this though. Also few times mobs were coming back to their normal behaviour after losing all headhunter stacks on character (didn't even have to leave the instance).

This is especially annoying with "emerging from the ground" monsters (stone elementals, some skeletons, flower-like plants etc) because they just stay dormant and bodyblock your path. Rolling helps to pass through some of them.

Yeah, I reported this a few weeks ago, happened while using Behead support, hopefully it'll get fixed now GGG are back in the office.
Bumping this one, it is SUPER annoying when it happens during a ritual and it will not end as the mobs won't emerge. Portalling out and back in does fix the issue.

The clusters of rock golems and burrowed creatures/flowers, as well as the flying creatures that won't fly down until you get close never activate.

Ontop of this I noticed it in a Breachstone where whatever happened, when Xesht activated instead of doing any of his abilities.. he just walked towards me constantly, pushing me the entire time. No attacks, no abilities, just shoved me until I killed him.

had the same thing happen with an omniphobia in a simulacrum and a few times with rares in maps.
This just happened to me earlier.. Ill leave my report here aswell..

Although and I've just remembered this.. unlike you I couldn't portal back in maybe because I was in boss room when I opened my portal..

I agree that it is the modifier that surrounds the player in grey smoke.
I had this on my character.. And initially thought it was due to me standing infront of the fire pillar.

Playing warrior w/head-hunter belt.

Began a 4 Floor sekhemas trial earlier and my first room was the hourglass trial.
Interacted with the hourglass.. Mobs spawn as normal, I took some damage from poison spitting spiders.. Lost a bit of honour.

Then proceeded to stack rage, brought down hammer of gods on a Rare giant spider.
Didnt kill it in one shot but a few stacks of corrupted cry supporting seismic cry and it was dead.

Next rare monster spawned and I'm invincible.. And invisible, to ALL monsters, AOE's, snd traps



Key points and things I noticed..

I could still complete the room and the rooms following.

The condition take 100 physical damage at the end of every room, had no effect to my honour either

I could stand on top of protruding spike traps without taking damage.

Rotating fire pillars did no damage.

Enemies essentially did not aggro, the only time they reacted was if i did damage first. Although this doesn't include the ones that pretend to be rocks/or the ones that spawn up when u get close.. The shield caterpillar things.

The thing is when I did attack other enemies they would aggro to my player location but not attack.. They'd simply walk into me and push me across the room.
I couldn't dodge roll out of it either. I had to wait until they're movement was finished before I could move few again.

I thought you guys fixed body blocking!!

Joking aside..

It was a bit shit, I could still interact with chests, trial map, sacred water fountains etc.. But I knew what was coming and sure enough, the first boss didnt even know I was in his arena (because he spawns from the rock/different plane) Like the guys I mentioned earlier.

Anyway.. I attacked a big rock for about 30 secs and closed the game.


My theory is, and this is because I feel like I experienced this a day or two ago, although it was brief, is that the head-hunter belt condition for when you kill a rare and get their modifiers is somehow related. Ive only acquired it in the past few days, and had happened twice since.

I didn't think to take notice of what modifiers the spider had initially before i "borrowed them" but yeh maybe its something to do with that.
Ill try to replicate it and record some footage.
